Pippa’s style transformation
Feeling confident, bold & self-assured again
Before…
I recently went to Nicole for a sort of makeover really. I had a colour and makeup analysis, a style session and also a shopping session.
I went to Nicole initially as I was approaching my 40th birthday and decided I was going to buy myself a new wardrobe. I didn’t really know where to start.
Over the few years of having kids, my wardrobe had become quite depleted. It was getting to the stage where, when I was going out anywhere, I felt really stressed because I just didn’t have anything to wear. I was even turning things down because I didn’t have the right thing to wear. All I was ever wearing was a t-shirt and jeans, which obviously isn’t going to do for every occasion.
I’m so glad that I consulted Nicole before I went and tried to get new things, because I would have ended up with all the wrong things.
The transformation…
Having the colour session done, I couldn’t believe how much of a difference having the right colours would make. It really makes your face come alive. I’ve discovered colours that I never would have worn before, which really suit me, and now I genuinely enjoy wearing them.
My image has improved dramatically after having the sessions with Nicole, and I now have clothes that I look good in and feel right wearing wherever I go. But the biggest thing, which I wasn’t really expecting, was how it would make me feel inside.
My confidence was quite low and I didn’t really pay much attention to myself. Now, even day to day, I just feel good because I know I’m wearing the right thing in the right colour. It’s made a huge difference to my confidence and how I feel day to day. That’s probably the biggest thing I’ve enjoyed from the process.
After!
Working with Nicole has been great. She’s lovely, really easy to spend time with, really passionate about what she does and incredibly helpful. I look forward to spending more time with her when we look for a spring/summer wardrobe.
I’d recommend anyone who’s feeling in the same situation as me to go and ask her for some help — you won’t regret it.
